In the world of broken promises and forgotten dreams that is Grand Theft Auto Online, that Rockstar insists heists are coming “soon”.
Frankly, I’ll believe it when I see it.
Onto more tangible GTA news: Apparently the new 30-person potentially-mandatory first-person modes for Grand Theft Auto Online are a riot. After the sour taste that the unbelievably disappointing GTA Online left me on the last-gen consoles, I was unsure about double-dipping on the upgraded version of Grand Theft Auto V. This may have convinced me.
Playing the entire game from an in-depth and fully realized first-person perspective makes it seem almost like an entirely new game; You can guarantee that I will personally never first-person scuba dive–my tender heart couldn’t survive a 1080p shark attack.
Rockstar has stated that when heists do arrive, you’ll be able to do them on both current and last-gen versions of the game. Grand Theft Auto V will be making it’s awaited return on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One November 18th, with the PC version slated for January.
