Matt Powers is one of the most well known driver’s around the globe thanks to his awesome cars along with his aggressive driving style on track combined with his chilled out style off track. Matt Powers shot to fame after a Top-4 finish at Irwindale in 2010, before becoming a Need for Speed/Speedhunters driver. His V8-powered Nissan S14 Silvia is also a fan favourite at drift events.
He is fresh of a win at the Redbull Drift Shifters event in New Zealand and Matt has also previously travelled to China to drift and is now looking forward to checking out the Australian drifting scene.
Matt Powers will be attending the event to meet the fans, do some ride-alongs and passenger rides in local car and act as a guest judge for the ADGP Top-16 Invitational Exhibition Match. It will be a great opportunity for drivers and fans to get up and close and personal with one of the coolest drifters on the planet. We will be announcing some giveaways and competitions in association with Matt’s trip soon and we will be filming his entire trip for some video feature’s both online and in an upcoming DVD.
