Brenda Woodworth and her two children were overwhelmed today with a 2008 Honda CR-V from Caliber Collision of Grass Valley and Farmers’ Insurance.
The car was donated through the National Auto Body Council’s “Recycled Rides” program.
Woodworth was nominated based on her commitment, hard work and determination to improve the quality of life for her and her children. About six years ago, she came to Grass Valley for addiction treatment at Hope House. Since then, Woodworth has returned to school and is working toward a nursing degree and she volunteers for church and counseling organizations.

Without reliable transportation, Brenda was relying on friends, public transportation and juggling schedules to meet her commitments and responsibilities. She doesn’t have quite so much to worry about anymore.
Woodworth was overjoyed with the new car and said she had always wanted a CR-V
Several other local businesses donated their time and resources to make this car giveaway possible.
